Prof. Björn Schuller Fellow of IEEE & ACM, Imperial College London, UK Björn Schuller received the Ph.D. and Habilitation degrees in electrical engineering and information technology from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Munich, Germany, in 2006 and 2012, respectively. He is currently a Full Professor and the Head of the Chair of Health Informatics, TUM, and a Professor in artificial intelligence with the Department of Computing, Imperial College London, U.K. He has coauthored seven books and more than 1 000 publications in peer-reviewed books, journals, and conference proceedings leading to more than 61 200 citations (H-index = 109). He is a Fellow of the ACM, Fellow of the IEEE and Golden Core Awardee of the IEEE Computer Society, Fellow of the BCS, Fellow of the ELLIS, Fellow of the ISCA, Fellow and President-Emeritus of the AAAC, and Elected Full Member Sigma Xi. He (co-)authored 1,400+ publications (60,000+ citations, h-index=110 ranking him number 8 in the UK for Computer Science), is Field Chief Editor of Frontiers in Digital Health and was Editor in Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Affective Computing amongst manifold further commitments and service to the community. His 50+ awards include having been honoured as one of 40 extraordinary scientists under the age of 40 by the WEF in 2015. Currently, he was awarded IEEE Signal Processing Society Distinguished Lecturer 2024. He served as Coordinator/PI in 20+ European Projects, is an ERC Starting and DFG Reinhart-Koselleck Grantee, and consultant of companies such as Barclays, GN, Huawei, Informetis, or Samsung. Schuller counts more than 300 public press appearances including in Business Insider, Guardian, International Business Times, Newsweek, Scientific American, Times, The Economist 1843, UK Daily Mail, and national and international podcast, radio, and television contributions such as in MIT Technology Review and “The World” and “The Why”. |

Prof. Sergei Gorlatch University of Muenster, Germany Sergei Gorlatch,Sergei Gorlatch has been Full Professor of Computer Science at the University of Muenster (Germany) since 2003. Earlier he was Associate Professor at the Technical University of Berlin, Assistant Professor at the Univeisity of Passau, and Humboldt research Fellow at the Technical University of Munich. Prof. Gorlatch has more than 150 peer reviewed publications in renowned international journals and conferences. He is often delivering invited talks at international conferences and serves at their programme committees. He was principal investigator in several international research and development projects in the field of parallel, distributed, Grid and Cloud computing, funded by the European Commission, as well as by German national bodies. Prof. Yong Yue IET Fellow, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University, China Yong Yue (BEng Northeastern China, PhD Heriot-Watt UK, CEng, FIET, FIMechE, FHEA) is a Professor at the Department of Computing, and Director of the Virtual Engineering Centre (VEC) and Suzhou Municipal Key Lab for Intelligent Virtual Engineering. He was Head of the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering (2013-2019). Prior to joining XJTLU, he had held various positions in industry and academia in China and the UK, including Engineer, Project Manager, Professor, Director of Research and Head of Department.Professor Yue has experience in learning and teaching, research and enterprise as well as management. He has led a variety of research and professional projects supported by major funding bodies and industry. He has also lead curriculum development at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has over 240 peer-reviewed publications and supervised 27 PhD students to successful completion. |

Prof. Amir H Gandomi IEEE Senior Member, University of Technology Sydney, Australia Amir H. Gandomi is among the world’s most cited researchers for his work in the fields of global optimisation and big data analytics, in particular, using machine learning and evolutionary computations. He is an ARC DECRA Fellow at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at UTS, where he is a Professor of Data Science. He has received multiple prestigious awards for his research excellence and impact, such as the 2023 Achenbach Medal and the 2022 Walter L. Huber Prize, the highest-level mid-career research award in all areas of civil engineering. Amir has published more than 350 journal papers and 14 books, which collectively have more than 50,000 citations, and he has been named one of the world’s most influential scientific minds and highly cited researchers by the influential Clarivate Analytics for six consecutive years. He is also ranked 17th among more than 15,000 researchers in the online computer science bibliography, Genetic Programming bibliography, and ranks first in Australia. In the recent most impactful researcher list, done by Stanford University and released by Elsevier, Prof Amir H Gandomi is ranked among the top 1,000 researchers (top 0.01%) and top 50 researchers in the AI and Image Processing subfield in 2021. He has served as associate editor, editor and guest editor in several prestigious journals, such as AE of IEEE TBD, IEEE Networks, and IEEE IoTJ. Prof. Roman Słowiński IEEE Fellow, Poznań University of Technology, Poland Roman Słowiński is a Professor and Founding Chair of the Laboratory of Intelligent Decision Support Systems at the Institute of Computing Science, Poznań University of Technology, Poland. Since 2003 he is also Professor at the Systems Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. He is a Vice President of the Polish Academy of Sciences (2019-2022) and a Full Member of this Academy. He has been president of the Poznań Branch of the Polish Academy of Sciences in years 2011-2018. In years 2016-2019 he was also chairing the Committee on Informatics of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Since 2013 he is a member of the Informatics Section of Academia Europaea. Roman Słowiński has conducted extensive research on methodology and techniques of intelligent decision support where he combines Operational Research and Artificial Intelligence. His particular interest is focused on: addressing robustness issues in decision analysis; ordinal data mining; preference learning; modeling of uncertainty and imprecision in decision problems; rough set theory; fuzzy set theory; evolutionary multiobjective optimization; project scheduling, including multiple category resources, multiple job modes, multiple criteria and uncertainty; decision support in medicine, technology, economics and environmental studies. As author, co-author or editor, he has published 16 books and more than 500 articles, including 300 papers in major scientific journals (Web of Science h-index=63, Scopus h-index=67, Google Scholar h-index=90). Prof. Panos Pardalos University of Florida, USA Ph.D., University of Minnesota, 1985 Panos M. Pardalos serves as professor emeritus of industrial and systems engineering at the University of Florida. Additionally, he is the Paul and Heidi Brown Preeminent Professor of industrial and systems engineering. He is also an affiliated faculty member of the computer and information science Department, the Hellenic Studies Center, and the biomedical engineering program. He is also the director of the Center for Applied Optimization. Pardalos is a world leading expert in global and combinatorial optimization.
